Dammit, bro. This was posted on Doctor of Credit months ago but never here. Was hoping it would stay that way so I wouldn't have to rush to use it on multiple accounts. Pray

Once these codes hit SD they never last long.

If you look in the "departments" area there are actually lots of stuff besides groceries you can order for pickup. Cleaning supplies, health and beauty, pet supplies, office supplies, etc

Walmarts tracking is creepy. The entire Start your cart line is all stuff I purchase regularly in store.
If you have a card on file online (say you ordered online before), I'm sure all purchases made with that card get attached to your account.

problem is Walmart groceries are overpriced to begin with
Compared to whom? I haven't seen anyone beat their prices in my area. Meijer used to have good sale prices, then Kroger started doing good on their sale prices. But Walmart beat all of them (and both stopped having as decent or sale prices). Walmart was even beating or matching a lot of prices at our Aldi. It seems, in the past few weeks, that Aldi has started to back down on some of their prices, but some staples (like spices) they made them smaller. But since they don't have everything I need, I only go when I need to pick up a couple of things that I know they have or there are a few things they only carry or is cheap enough to make it worth making an additional stop.

If you haven't been recently, Walmart has really made an effort to lower their prices over the past year or two. And with grocery pickup, you don't go into the store and get tempted to buy more stuff. I used to like picking out my own meat (making sure I got the smallest family pack knowing I wouldn't use the large pack or looking for meat markdowns), but I realized the money I was saving not picking up extra things that weren't on my list, and not less the time I was saving, was worth it. And they've been pretty good at getting me smaller meat pack sizes instead of the larger ones (so far). The only thing I would change is shortening the availability times. I want to pick my groceries up around 8 AM (after I drop the kids off at school) and to do that, I have to have my order in by like 9 or so the night before. One time I was even putting in an order for that time and it kicked it out when I went to check out because it was too late to enter for that time frame. I know they have to have time to shop, but not 12 hours. And it's usually late (waiting for the kids to get to bed) before I get around to doing it. I might have to try what someone else suggested and pick the time a week ahead and build my cart throughout the week.

It really depends on where you are at. I used to shop at Walmart in the past, but where I live now, WM's grocery price is higher than other stores like Kroger and Target, so I no longer do my grocery there.
