So I order online, but I still have to go to the store? Then they give me whatever produce they decide to give me rather than the stuff I've selected. 20% off sounds good though.
That's not exactly how it works. You can select no substitutes.

I think this is the 3rd time that I've tried WM Grocery pickup, and honestly this will be my last. With every single order, I had to call customer care b/c there were issues. This time, they screwed up my orders by overcharging me. I ordered some meats, and I knew that the actual charges will change based on the actual package prices that they scan at the store. Well, I found out that they didn't enter the correct prices. I ordered 4 x pork lions and 3 x another pork loins. They overcharged me on both while handing me packages, whose total price came up short by about $5 (this was based on actual receipt I received after I picked up the order). Customer support was hit or miss too. Today, I got a customer support that kept telling me that I was wrong even though I had the very proof in front of me, and he hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. When I called back, the same guy answered, and as soon as he realized it was me, he hung up on me again. In the end, I was able to speak to a supervisor who sort it all out and issued a refund, but honestly, the savings don't seem worth the trouble that comes with their poor service.
Never had any issues with ours.

Gonna be honest... i dont see how ppl order certain products sight unseen and then complain about it. Veggies, fruit, meats, etc should be selected in person. Regular prepackaged items like cereal, pasta, canned goods, etc are perfect for services like these.
you nailed it. Repped.

I want green apples no substitutes. They pick the ugliest bruised apples but at least they didnt substitute red apples.

This is probably the first time I have seen someone have a problem figuring out how to use up $50.00 at Walmart. (¬‿¬)

Can you give me some idea? vegetables/meat go bad easily, pizza needs a new freezer

Thanks for the code!!

We have used Wal-Mart grocery pickup for about 18 months here. Never really had any problems to speak of. We always get staples like milk, meat, fruit, and vegetables. We also get random house supplies like TP, contact lens solution, and distilled water. Never had a problem with them even when I was eating keto. And the subsitutions have been much better 99% of the time. I HIGHLY recommend the service.

Next level will be when my self-driving vehicle drives itself to Wal-Mart, picks up the groceries, and drives them back to me.

No pickup option for 2 nearest Walmarts in Greenwood, SC. Have to drive 25 miles to closest grocery pickup location. Bummer.... We've been left out in the cold again with our 2 stores. Also would not allow me to ship the items.

LOL, nice emoji face. Was a joke (mostly). I've posted hundreds of deals, but every once in a while I keep one to myself.

I agree, Walmart grocery pick up is indeed a hassle free service, and more often than not, if an item I ordered isn't available, they substitute with a better and bigger one without extra cost.
But you can refuse any substitution unless you think it is really great. I always hope to order something they do not have in stock. So, for example, you might actually be buying 30 or 35 dollars worth of stuff but still get the $10 off. Best possible result.

I have usually been pleased with the produce selections they have given me. But you can look at what they bring out and say no to anything you don't like. Be polite, of course, but they are very nice about it.

Well, not anything. But once you are in the grocery pickup part of the site, search items to add. I have gotten some health and beauty items, including their Equate brand, some hardware items, and some limited gardening items.
