Walmart has given me meat that had sellby dates the day of my pickup or the next day- multiple times. I have also received vegetables beat to hell and that probably should have just been disposed. It really all depends upon which employee you get. It's happened at Kroger, too. I try to mostly order non-perishables and frozen items when doing pickup orders on these deals. Then i just run in before my pickup time and get the meat and veggies myself. Obviously, I enjoy grocery shopping.....
McGonzoNot sure about this one. My local Walmarts struggle greatly with inventory and pickup (tower and desk). The people usually try hard, it's just their systems that suck. Employees admit that inventory is a joke. I'd be afraid to get milk that's been sitting out since Tuesday, a box of liquid ice cream and eggs already scrambled.
Don't allow this to happen to you. Look at the stuff they are giving you and if you don't like the quality, just refuse it. They will take anything off your order, no problem.
Or, go through your order while you are in the parking lot and then take anything you don't like inside and return it.

If you are stacking this with credit card offer, like BoA $5 off $50, AMEX $10 off $50, or whatever Chase has, keep in mind that sometimes they can't substitute items and for some items that require weighting final price can be less.
You probably want around $55 final price after $10 Walmart code to give $5 buffer in case of OOS items.

I think this is silly. You can refuse anything you don't like in your order. Just stand by your car and check things over. I have had little to complain about. I must be have a better Walmart...

It really depends on where you are at. I used to shop at Walmart in the past, but where I live now, WM's grocery price is higher than other stores like Kroger and Target, so I no longer do my grocery there.

I choose carefully what I buy from them. A lot of things do cost more at some Walmarts... I have a bunch of Walmarts where we live, and one that is close to an Aldi's has been selling milk for 1 cent higher than Aldi, and exactly matching their prices on bananas, lettuce, and such. Combine that with $10 off and you have a great deal.
And there is a Walmart in another part of town which mysteriously has ridiculously cheap prices for eggs but much higher milk prices, no idea who they are competing with. I stock up on whatever is cheapest and fill my cart of store brands that we use all the time and which are the lowest possible prices.
So just as with all other things, shop around if you want to maximize your dollars.

problem is Walmart groceries are overpriced to begin with
Aldi definitely beats Walmart prices.

If you're talking about overpriced....try shopping at Publix BUT most people, like myself, prefer paying a little bit more for better customer service, good quality meats and produce. The service at Publix is top-notch.

Walmart is cheaper than Winn Dixie outside of the items WD puts in their ads to lure people inside the store. Those are the only two stores near enough to me to shop at outside of a 3rd one who has gotten too many low health inspection scores in regards to their deli and bakery areas.

Love when they do these, I always need something from Walmart and the best part is it's not actually restricted to the grocery. I just got some storage bins, trash bags, and a broom and saved $10, taste the savings lol.

It says no delivery, locally. But, I did see a sign at the front of the store, last Sat, saying free pickup. So, maybe it's not valid here.
Sigh.. no local delivery in your area is what they mean. I just used it for delivery but to anyone that can get delivery- there is a $10 delivery fee lmao. They use Instacart but without Instacart branding in order to make you pay the increased delivery fee.

WM foiled my diabolical plans of sweetening the pot with the $5 BoA bonus when they ran out of stock of 1 item. Bringing my total below the $50 threshold. They did still apply the full $10 discount code.
The OOS item was a $23 jug of motor oil so i ended up getting a much bigger discount on the rest of my order.

Chase offer says $5 cash back after $50 purchase. Does it need to be before tax or after tax?
E.g. if I buy $55 with this coupon my total will be $45+tax which will be $50

Just want to confirm in case if any item goes out of stock and we are still getting cash back

Don't push it. Items sometimes do go out of stock and they don't always substitute. Get above $60 just too be safe.
