So much Microcenter spam on this site anymore, enough.
There, I fixed that for you.
(there isn't a Microcenter within 1,200 miles of me Mad )

I just saw Paterson, NJ on the TV show Intervention. Its where all the junkies go to score drugs and panhandle. They seriously have a microcenter there?
They do, it's an "economic development area" which means sales tax is half off as well so we save an extra couple percent by heading there. It's right off the highway so it's not like you're in some sort of scary area

Always love the MC ads thrown in with component deals... Yes they are great but only a small portion of the US has one anywhere close enough to justify saving $30. I mean hell I have one but it's 4hrs away..

With only 2 RAM slots, missing a 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), and lacking USB 3.1 Gen2, I don't see what would make this a better deal than the ASRock B450M-Pro4 at Microcenter......CPU and board for $120.

Am I missing something?

Most of the US does not have a MC near them. The tax and the drive to the MC makes similar deals closer for the final cost usually. And for these budget builds the extra expansion isn't really all that needed. For my main rig, I wouldn't consider either the CPU or mobo, but none of my spares run 2X M.2 drives, 4 RAM sticks, etc, or anything missing out of this deal. Also people shopping for <$150 combos are usually not looking at overclocking. The time and tax to get a slightly better deal at MC that has options I would never miss in the spare gym room HTPC, extra station in LAN room, etc, deals like this are more than fine for me and many other users. And this is considering I live 30 minutes from MC - not sure the 1h round trip and 30 minutes browsing around the store is worth the tiny savings.

I got the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with Wraith Spire Cooler, Gigabyte B450 AORUS M, CPU / Motherboard Bundle for $135. It was the cheapest combo with a M.2 SSD port and 4 ram slots. at MC.

Ryzen 3 3300 looks better than the 1600 and 2600 lines.

I'm sure it does. Post up those pics and benchmark stats running that CPU.

Also post a link where we can all buy one.
