Orbit B-hyve Bluetooth Hose Faucet Timer $25.43 (Walmart/Amazon)

Back again....

Control a single outdoor faucet using bluetooth.

Why would you need this. In my case, my outdoor faucet is behind plants/hedge and difficult to get to. I will use this instead of forcing my way through the bushes to the faucet. It does use batteries, so at some point, I'll have to replace the batteries.

Control from your phone or tablet.

tax and shipping may or may not apply to you.

I ordered one on the first deal (same price) and now ordered two more...it makes turning on my outdoor faucets painless.

yes...I have one and I use my phone to turn the hard to get to faucet on/off. I've ordered two more. I can't comment on using it as a timer based sprinkler or with their wifi sprinkler timer.....

It has built a built in Bluetooth. If you want to use WiFi then you need the kit of this unit plus the WiFi adapter.

Bluetooth was limiting, but with wifi adapter it works pretty well at shutting up my neighbor's dog when he barks at night. Still working on how to make it "voice" activated.
Hoping to try an old waterproof phone running an Alexa app with name set to "roof" and lawn sprinkler routine name as "roof, roof".

Would it tell me if someone walks onto my property and turns on my water hose to let the water run all night?

I setup a Zwave valve for more than this price, but more useable.

Valve $10
Zwave Appliance Module $25
Power Adapter $10

I can start and stop water from anywhere with my cellphone.

I often spend many weekends away from home so this is great to be able to keep my vegetable garden watered. Also I can turn it off for rain and not waste water. Easy set up and works great.

Your setup needs an outlet nearby, right? This one is just 2 AA batteries.

Dang. Wish I could find one near me. Closest is the next town over. Although I'm not sure about spending $25. I do see it $10 in a town about 35 minutes away, but sold out. I might have bit at that price. I'm just not sure how well it would work. I have a hose connected inside our garage that runs out through a wall. I'm not sure why they did it that way. We hardly ever use it because it's such a pain to go through the garage to turn it on and don't have a lot of uses there anyway. But if I had this option, and it worked well with the signal reaching into the garage, I'd give it a try, especially in the $5-$10 range.

reviews say this works with wifi thru the sprinkler bhyve without the adapter so i'm getting it to test with that . i have a manual timer but would prefer to use this if it interfaces with my sprinkler to get on wifi they are only 15' apart so i'd assume it will reach it.
