2 pack of Milwaukee 3.0 High Output batteries Model # 48-11-1837 for $99 + Tax (YMMV)

I found my Home Depot had the Milwaukee 48-11-1837 M18 Red Lithium High Output CP3.0 Battery 2-Pack on sale for $99. They had it posted as $99 in store, but it wrang up as $149 so I took it to the customer service desk and they honored their own store promotion. They said they put everything out early a few days ahead of the sale. So this matches the Acme Tools and Tool Barn sales at $99 a few weeks back.

I bought em for the weight. Acme said it's 1.33 lbs for the 3.0Ah and 1.09 lbs for the 2.0 Ah.

Trying to figure out how to upload the pic of the store promotion to SD. I think this link should suffice.

Doresoom has a good discussion on these. https://youtu.be/Tgodx4h5gIs I'm still trying to figure out if I need these. Right now I have a 12, 2 at 5ah, and an old style enormous 3ah and I've been thinking I need some compact batteries but I'm on the fence between these or some of the smaller ones for really compact.

Acme Tools has it but its $99. You're better off just getting a 2-pack

Sale is officially on! No longer YMMV, you can now get these online for $99. I'm assuming the deal is in store too.

This seems to have expired? Home Depot wants $149.99 for these now.
Edit- sale is back on as of 06/08. I bought these batteries elsewhere and I can definitely recommend them! Just watch for fitment issues with smaller tools as they are longer and wider than regular XC packs.

It was an in store YMMV. I haven't been to Home Depot in a few days, but it may still be valid. In any case, as of today, you can get them from Acme Tools for $99.00 plus Shipping, so it's around the same cost.

After having them for a few weeks, they are great in my drills, but definitely lack power compared to the old 5.0 aH battery bricks I have for everything else. Also, they have a larger size compared to the 2.0 aH batteries and wouldn't fit in the case for my 2 drills.

I ended up buying these batteries on eBay.
They certainly are powerful! Tested it out with the leaf blower and even the circular saw. I'm impressed.
