I played the game on Vita, really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend it; I'm very much looking forward to replaying the game when my daughters get a little bit older. The two player mode is interesting in that it's an asymmetric co-op (i.e. they're not just another main character with similar abilities). The second player controls a "firefly" that can be used to either heal your character or stun your opponent during battles (in single player mode, you control both, using the second analog stick to move the firefly). I think this game can be a great fit for playing with a younger child (although older ones would enjoy it too as it adds some strategy to the battles).

Only thing to note is the story is surprisingly dark from what I recall (i.e. characters die, etc.). It's not graphically violent, but themes are more mature than I'd expect. I still very much plan to play it with my kids when they're a little older (probably 6 or so), but I probably wouldn't let them play it on their own until a bit older than that even if they'd be capable of it.

It was a pretty decent game but I'm glad it wasn't longer than it is. It starts to get kind of grindy/ repetitive after a while.

The biggest single turn-off though is that every piece of dialogue is written in poetry. Like, really bad forced rhyming poetry. After the first hour or so I started skipping all story elements because I couldn't take it anymore.

Looks pretty amazing from the video . . . worth the $8 to give it a try. Can anyone chime in on the two-player mode? I'd love to play something like this with my son.

Great game. Played it years ago. Not much replayability though so I'll pass even at this great price.

Good to know, thanks. I'll probably wait for it to be really cheap on steam
