This former FP deal is back.
  • 1 x HDMI in (ARC [tomsguide.com], on top of that)
  • 1 x HDMI out
  • 1 x Digital Optical
  • 1 x Analog Audio
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Built-in subwoofer
  • Clear Voice for enhanced dialogue clarity
  • DTS Virtual:X virtual 3D surround sound

$20 Newegg "Promotional Gift Card will be emailed 4 days after invoice."

From the previous thread, these are very likely Costco returns based on the model number.

I generally like Yamaha equipments, but calling 3" speakers "subwoofer" for deep bass is a far fetch. Obviously it'll sound great with an additional 8"+ sub (if crossover tuning is possible), but I'd rather have them designing that "subwoofer" to output midrange as woofer instead.

Great deal! Excellent sound as compared to my two Vizio setups.

Wonder how many times cokeboy will get blasted with that weak ash initial comment?
I had the older model and it works for the price. It's very reliable and can broadcast sound in a basic bedroom or apartment space nicely. It has Bluetooth so you can stream whatever music service is on your phone w/ease. I connected mine to an Andrew Jones sub and the set up was perfect.
But what I want to know is where newegg is getting these Costco bars & who is refurbishing them? Did Yamaha take them back? I see this at Costco all the time and will probably buy there when the price is right.

I've had this sound bar for about two months. Great for a medium to small room and you won't find a better price for a unit with HDMI ARC support. Highly recommend.

I read the comments from the last deal thread and it seems like you should skip getting a refurb. For $50 more, get a brand new one at Costco and piece of mind with their return policy.

Really?
LG 2.1 Channel 300W High-Res Audio Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer - SJ4Y for $99 (or $60 at some locations)

Big retailers like Costco aren't in the refurb / return business, so they just package all the returns to the vendor and someone buys them en masse to sort and resell.

bought this last time it was on sale for my parents, they can't hear the TV speakers very well. this was marginally better than the tv speakers. they kept it, but if it was for me i would have returned it.

What kind of TV do they have to claim "marginally" better. Night and day difference for me on a TCL, Sony and Vizio. This is a great deal for an excellent sound bar.

I disagree completely. I have this in the bedroom and it sounds loads better than TV speakers. I have since paired it with a 10" sub and I absolutely love it. Gets very loud too!
May I know with sub you bought to go with it? Thanks

it is a pioneer tv. vocal clarity (i.e dialog) was only minimally improved and that is probably the biggest reason people get soundbars, because if you wanted "home theater" you would not be getting a soundbar.

Instead of buying one specifically for this I used a 8" Pioneer Andrew Jones sub from my living room setup and upgraded that to a 10".
