This is an excellent modem and price. I already have the Arris Surfboard if not I would have bought this. Repped.

As soon as I see BrickSeek anymore, I know it's a futile effort on my part to replicate any deal. Good luck to those who can!

Looks like it's pretty similar to my ARRIS SB6183 which I got on cragslist for $20. Used/like-new. It's been working great so far for the last couple months.

Good modem, but don't get confused by "Motorola" in the name. It is actually a Zoom modem, Zoom bought the Motorola brand awhile back.

Thanks OP. Went to a Walmart with 3 in stock, nothing on display, spoke to a female employee, she said we don't have it. Asked nicely if she can use her device and said "i will know if we have have it or not". Ok thanks whatever. Went to the next Walmart with limited stock and saw one in the clearance section. No need to talk to any person.

Just a note for Spectrum users, recently upgraded mother in law to the current 100Mbs service and they said new modems being added need to be DOCSIS 3.1. That was a tech, not a sales person. But it's Spectrum so YMMV with what they'll let you do.

File a complaint with corporate.

There's only two scenarios: Either their loss prevention is so bad that they're letting thieves walk out of the store with security tagged items or the employees are setting stock aside for themselves.

I was told that a similar deal was "probably stolen". Mind you, the item sat behind a counter in a locked glass case...

Or they're lazy and don't want to look.

Spectrum in my area provided the docsis 3.0 modem for free now. No additional rental fee or anything.

Exactly.

"Yes, I'm sure thieves made off with your two clearance security systems, which have an empty shelf spot clearly marked in that locked case"
