The heated plastic in these will cause cancer, and they are not recyclable.

Nespresso uses aluminum pods, which are less likely to cause cancer, but could hypothetically contribute to the development alzheimer's. Nespresso pods are 100% recyclable.

For what it's worth. my 2 cents.
Nespresso pods don't work in kcup brewers. For what it's worth.

I can think of a few other things that would kill me long before the heated plastic will

...Hopefully my wife isn't one of them

These routines are used in any basic sales email marketing backend.

If customer buys something once > visits site against > adds to cart > doesn't check out > wait 2 weeks > email them a coupon. That's a basic email marketing procedure that even small mom and pop shops use.

But I don't think that's all Amazon is doing, especially since many of the people here are saying they've purchased Solimo in the past. I think they're aggregating all the data they have on you, your past purchases, categories, coupon use, subscribe and save and s&s cancellations, and so on - and they're profiling you to determine whether to tag you for the coupon. They may even be doing this at an address-level, preventing you from switching accounts to get the coupon.

A coupon is a marketing intervention that costs them real $ out of their pocket. By applying it more selectively they're able to maximize the number of new customers they're gaining. they could be targeting people who don't rely on Amazon for K-cup purchases..
Thanks, marketing is so fascinating. It's like a war almost with the strategies they use. I have noticed this tactic too and actually try to exploit it sometimes by leaving something in my cart. Or leaving a website after almost checking out. It's often a successful way to get a 10-20% off coupon in a day or two.

Same here, just a $10 off, no 50% off. But I went ahead and ordered the Morning Light. I don't like strong coffee so this works for me. Not quite as slick, but $17 for 100 K-Cups isn't bad.

I've never ordered any coffee off of Amazon and the only one that shows up with a discount is the Morning Light ($10 off + S&S).
