$35 in the NH area too but still pretty slick. These dimmers work great and look great.

Anyone know if these could be used to control a ceiling fan?

This dimmer looks nice and works well unless you have weak wifi or if your routet drops connection often. It has trouble reconnecting to wifi sometimes after power outage/wifi d/c.

I recently had all Wemo, switches, plugs but they drove me nuts. The light switch was unreliable, the app is slow, firmware updates regularly fail. Swapped the whole thing out for TP-Link and haven't had a problem since.

Same here. My Wemo smart plugs dropped connections all the time. I replaced with TP Link smart plugs and they have been rock solid.

This cannot be used to control a ceiling fan. You will blow the motor and it can cause a fire.

I haven't had a problem with mine dropping and I believe this is compatible with smartthings hub which will help relief wifi congestion

I only have Wemo mini wall plugs, but agree that the TP-Link stuff is better in every way.

Best thing for a ceiling fan is something called Bond, it will control an existing ceiling fan controller with the remotes that you already have connected. Can purchase from home depot on sale for $79. I have mine connected to 5 but it is limited to 30-40'' distance or so to work reliably.

Is garage controller also made by Belkin? So only one app needed to control all 3?

The dimmer is not compatible with smartthings.

Interesting... I don't have any problem with mine, except the 1 time we had a major hail/thunderstorm/tornado warning. Other than that I've had it for a couple of years and no problems so far.
