Based on my searching . This is identical with 7100.
They do this to avoid price match...

Some model numbers are assigned to different stores such as walmart, bestbuy and others

Look on 7100 for detail and general.

This 7 series is very narrow angled view. Avoid it if you want to set as a pc monitor.

Vizio v 40" has alot better anglr view but can not beat ips panel.

NO this is NOT the 7100..

I purchased the 55 inch version 7200..

It measures much lower than 7100 specs.

The 7200 has ~2800:1 contrast ratio vs 5200:1 on the 7100.

The 7200 only measures 260nit stable, not the 300 from RTING.

Overall the contrast ratio is the bummer, So I returned it, But it COULD just be the one I got.

I'm not sure how you guys can tell without a colorimeter, so , well you've been warned.

I bought the last 55inch deal for the 7200 from walmart.

The panel is very dissimilar to the Rting 7100 review.

this similar 7100 for 40", not talking 55" ...

I was hunting down 40" for months :-D, and settle with vizio v 40" from costco.
did many returns , Today tv panel is kind of lottery...

yeah, learn a lot during bought/returned, but most bought/returned were from costco. not abusing it, just use the good costco service.

I bought from coscto, bestbuy and walmart when looking 40"-43" size for pc monitor.

I found this in my local store... On the fence of getting one for gaming. Very few reviews around so far...

My friend has this tv (at least it was a 40' 7 series Samsung, not sure if exact same), and it looked pretty good. Much better than the cheap 40' 4k tv. But $250 for 40'? Don't really get why anyone would get this, when you can get a 50-55' for the same price (albeit worst quality, but the size difference is huge).

The reason is very limited market for 40" 4k...
And the price is telling the market condition.

For anyone to use it tv for monitor. 40-43" is a good spot.

I fall on this , which use 40" for monitor.
Never ever see 40". Lower than $220 for good decent tv with good angle view.
