Intel Core i7-8750H 2.2Ghz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 Graphics; 8GB RAM; 1TB HDD+256GB SSD

For $999.99 this is a pretty solid deal if you have a microcenter nearby. Similar specs on Best Buy are usually 2-300 dollar more.

Yep, I will never have less than a 120 refresh. Hard to go back once you have it

I don't like Alienware keyboard. It is awkward to use.

I went into the Tustin store to check this thing out and it is a behemoth. I understand 17" laptops are big but this thing is gigantic. I opted for an ASUS that had 16gb ram but similar specs at 17 and it is great. On display it was also making awful fan sounds.

I have the 1070 version of this laptop and use it as my main desktop. It has traveled with me but only maybe 2x a year. It really is big and won't fit into most bags. The up side is the 99whr battery. with only 60hz and no gsync, you can get almost 10 hours out of it if you try. Also the cooling on the 17 is better than the 15 so the extra thickness and weight at least give you some benefits.
