Who still uses wired mice in this day and age?
Pretty dumb comment. G PRO HERO is an example of an amazing wired mouse.

Are you a pro gamer? Do you use wifi or a hardwired connection? With all the improvements to routers and wifi these days, I just can't fathom folks using ethernet cables in 2019, but I just had to ask anyway.

Ethernet cables are far more stable and faster than wifi at this point so your analogy doesn't work. How much throughput does a wireless mouse need?

I didn't know I offended so many e"sports" gamers on here. The funny thing is, they're on this post for a mouse that IS NOT a gaming mouse. If this mouse was a genuine 1000000dpi wired gaming mouse, I wouldn't be questioning its use. But this is an average run of the mill wired mouse. If you're in the market for one of these, you clearly do not care about maxing out your speed. So let me rephrase my question - who still uses a non-gaming wired mouse these days?

Just about every inexpensive wireless mouse I've tried has issues (latency, lag, unresponsiveness,etc.). Not sure if that just comes with the territory of being wireless but I won't be going back anytime soon.
