Saw this in the clearance table at Walmart so YMMV. Has somewhat decent reviews online. Maybe a nice pickup for those looking for a true 4K UHD with HDR blu-ray player.

Vizio P supports Dolby Vision, therefore it would make sense to get a UHD player that also supports Dolby Vision. I'd recommend the big brother version of the Phillips 5502, the 7302 (aka 7502 at the warehouse club's like Sam's)
I agree I have that Dolby vision 4K player and I love it very basic for streaming services but it gets the job done when it comes to physical discs so can't complain especially for the price I paid with a square trade warranty $125 all together not bad if I do say so myself

Got in on that Magnavox deal, the player is a POS. Will randomly reboot or turn off while in the middle of playing a Blu-ray disc. The menus seem to be forever stuck in audio assistance so it'll audibly tell you what function you're using (i.e. fast forward, pause) which is annoying.

I'd go for this one if I had the choice and I have no clue if this is any good but can't be any worse
Omgosh man. This IS the Magnavox, just rebadged!

Mine has been great. Similar performance to any other Blu Ray player I have owned.

Most people havent reported your experience...

Yeah other reason I didn't get this even at $50 is not many reviews on it even though it's been out for a while and the few I could find all mention the same thing that it stops working after a few months for no apparent reason.
I have owned mine for a year and it is still running fine.

Yup waiting for a good deal on the Sony ubp-x700 with dolby vision again for my Vizio TV myself.
Only if you enjoy having to manually switch the dolby vision on and off

I think it means it plays 4K Blu- ray discs. And not just upscaling DVD/Blu-ray.
So there are 4k bluray players that don't play 4k bluray discs?

I would make a hard pass on that Sony to many issues that's why I went with the Phillips 4K HDR Dolby vision blu ray player just my 2 cents

This is the same as the Magnavox $50 deal of the past.

As long as your tv doesn't support dolby vision, go for it.

I have been using the Mag player for over a year, and it has been mostly great. Like 3 lockups ovee that time. Just unplug it and it resets fine.
Yup, I also got in on the Bestbuy Magnavox. I have the Samsung NU8000 which is HDR10+ so the Dolby vision thing didn't matter to me. Its a pretty basic player, but all i needed it to do was play 4k media so was fine with me, as it does that perfectly..

I got in on the lg 4K blu ray player from woot the other day because my Xbox one x wouldn't read DV for my OLED, but didn't realize only one or two of my numerous 4K blu rays actually supported DV, so I'd say it's really not THAT important, ymmv
