Because PC building has turned 80% aesthetic and these dimms are ugly. I wouldn't mind but most want something nicer.

Everybody knows lights make RAM go faster. That's the mistake we were making for so many years. If we could just get Intel to start adding lights to their processors, we might save Moore's Law!

I plan to build a new pc any time from July - Dec, just depends on when I find the best prices. Probably AMD but not 100% sure. Would it be a bad idea to get this and sit on it for a while?
