SanDisk Extreme PLUS microSD 128gb 2 pack for $39.99 @ Costco.com. Not sure if they are stocked in stores right now. Also includes SD card adapter. Free shipping. Plus tax in your state.

** (Add $2.50 if you are not a Costco member to buy these online).

Speed Class Rating: Class V30/U3/A2. Good for high resolution photos, video, and drones. Meets the new UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for 4K UHD.
.
** $10 manufacturer's savings** is valid 5/1/19 through 6/16/19. While supplies last. Limit 3 per member (or transaction if you are not a member, you could buy multiples).

https://www.costco.com/SanDisk-Ex...85627.html

The Costco.com regular price was $49.99, but now down to $39.99 with $10 discount/coupon. This is a steal. That is less than 1/ 4 of Amazon's price selling the A1 version for $89.95 EACH. Trust, but verify if you want to:
Amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-128GB-microSDXC-UHS-I/dp/B06XYSVX64

Costco.com $10 off expires 6/16/19. Limit 3 per member (or each non-member transaction.

seems like an OK price, but your statement here is either flat wrong or intentionally misleading

the listing you provided for reference is not the same card, and is sold and priced by a 3rd party vendor

a very simple and quick search on amazon yielded these exact cards at amazon for only $26 each:

How do these cards compare to the Samsung Evo cards which are frequently $20/128GB?

It looks like Amazon wants $25.99 for this version of the card: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCMKK5X/

I started to look into this yesterday because my 2017 Samsung Evo card may have froze my Insta360 One X. The display on the camera said it was in the middle of saving a file when it froze. I am looking at the SanDisk because of the V30 rating. For some reason I cannot find that rating when I'm sampling various offerings for Samsung EVO cards at Amazon.

I may be wrong, but i believe V30 is a Sandisk branding. ItsI the same as U3.

Found a forum that referenced SD Association website, which I'm hoping is the definitive source for such info. V30 (Video Speed) is a new category and it's not made up by SanDisk.

I'm impatient and lazy, so I'll take this quote from the forum as the answer:

"The video speed class requires hardware/firmware support, for example the card reports to the host it is capable of running in the Video Speed protocol and tells the host about itself, for example block sizes so the host can erase files in the most applicable manner to avoid speed slow downs as the card is used, plus the card will support multi file writes.

Only a card that shows the Video Speed protocol, and a host (such as the GH5) that supports the Video Speed protocol will see the card operating in that mode. It's not just another way of showing the "speed rating", it also shows support for this new protocol."

So... I guess I won't be using the EVO card on the Insta360.

V30 is yet another SD spec/branding. It means Video 30/MBs or something like that, basically the minimum constant write speed is at least 30MB/s.

I bought these. Great cards. Write speeds can handle K4 recording on my Sony a6400.

Gee, so sorry that reading is not your strong point.

Read my post again. Extreme PLUS. Your link is for EXTREME>. I posted the A1 Extreme PLUS for comparison of an inferior & lower performing card for those who might be unfamiliar with A2 performance. In fact, the same EXTREME PLUS A2 in 128gb size sold by Adorama sells for $36.31 EACH. But you are the genius. I will save you all that work of a "very simple and quick search" for the A2 link.

The card posted is an A2 U3 V30 specific card.
- A2 is an Application Speed Class.
- U3 is a UHS Speed Class.
- V30 is a Video Speed Class.

** A1 is slower than A2. A2 is a higher performance card.
** U1 and U3 are used in SDR50/DDR50 or faster.
** V60 and V90 are used in UHS-II mode or faster.

V30 is not a SanDisk branding gimmick. It is a SD Standard.

Here are links for the SD (Card) Association articles that are full of specifics for SD cards for those above and beyond who need the info.

I can't help but laugh when ppl get offended at someone questioning their imaginary internet points that don't mean anything, but here goes

Costco item:

U3 A2 V30 170MB/s Read & 90MB/s Write gold/red color branded extreme PLUS

My item:
U3 A2 V30 160MB/s Read & 90MB/s Write gold/red color branded extreme

your original example item:
U3 A1 V30 95MB/s Read & 90MB/s Write black/red color branded extreme PLUS some unknown 3rd party seller with a ridiculous price way out of market average range

I don't believe the item you posted (for comparison and justification of being an amazing "steal") is closer than my 5 second search on amazon

Your post says "Trust, but verify if you want to"

I went and verified for myself and found that your price comparison point is horribly off base. I did not say the costco item was a horrible deal, it was just "Okay"

By all means, get up in arms about those rep points though
Meanwhile, SD is laughing all the way to the bank with these amazon referral links while your costco link doesn't monetize at all for them

U3 V30 is sufficient for 4K video recording.

This deal is better than the "2-Pack Lexar 64GB Professional 633x UHS-I U1 SDXC Memory Cards $19" front page deal.

It is not on the front page, is probably there are no affiliate incentives from Costco.
