I've used both and I'd agree. The auto-load is kind of cool but doing it manually is trivially simple and takes all of about 10 seconds. The auto really isn't much if any easier or faster. You load the line the same way so no difference as far as that goes. From there, instead of just turning the bottom with your hand a few times while it's there after loading it, you hold a button and it chunks in the line in the same way. Meh... Wasn't really life changing for me. I'd rather have the $50 difference in price.

I got the Ego mower and absolutely love it. I wanted to stay in the Ego ecosystem for trimmer, edger, blower, etc, but their stuff is just too expensive. Ended up going with Ryobi for that stuff. I think the prices of these will start dropping pretty significantly as Musk's gigafactory continues to bring new sectors online and ramp up production of the Li-Ion batteries.

Blower needs 5A or 7.5A battery to be practical.

You might see a better price on the string trimmer, but probably not the leaf blower. I believe the lowest it was last summer, was $149.

If I got the string trimmer back on 3/23 do you think I would be able to just bring the receipt in to have a price adjustment?
