Great deal if there is a theater near you. Sadly, very few Jersey locations for any of these chains. There is a Cinemark in Hazlet participating but not the new Watchung location and there are no AMC Classics around here. I didn't check Regal.

BTW, Bow Tie Cinemas has a similar promotion with free movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 am at 9 theaters in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.

I was just about to mention that. Probably a bunch of other smaller chain theatres have similar promos, either free or $1/movie. Not bad for something to do w/ the kids to beat the heat. My kids love going to the movies. Typically they are morning showings though. If I find some more theatres I'll add them to the post. Smilie

How busy will it be in regal? Do I need order tickets online weeks before?

also how noisy will it be? Plan to bring my 3 yr and 5 yr old kids, but worried of too much noise they may make Wink

Haha You just burst my bubble. My son's summer daycare goes every week to a new movie for the whole summer. I have to pay $220 for his summer activities (includes way more than just these movies). Here I thought I was getting a bargain, but I didn't know it was only costing $8 to get into the 8 movies he will see. LOL

These are older movies (most are available on netflix) so my guess is that it'll be more about getting your kids outside the house for some air-conditioned fun so I wouldn't expect it to be a situation where people demand absolute silence for a movie.

if its anything like the cinemark experience, you'll be fine. this will be the 3rd summer that my kids have been going to these shows and they are 4 and 6 right now. at my local theater the crowd is primarily parents/caretakers and kids between the ages of 2-10. no one should give you any grief about noise because everyone else there will probably be in a similar situation.

$5 if they bought the 10 movie punch card hahahaha. For $5 a pop, I bought a couple extras in case my kids want to ask any friends to go with them.
