I was just about to purchase at Home Depot when I notice this was about half the price at Lowe's.

Only the Black Stainless Steel is $129. I found a working $20 off $100 to knock it down to $109

I own this microwave. I had to buy it because is it the only zero-clearance microwave you can buy these days. (The people who put the last one in did not leave enough room to the side, so the microwave door would only open halfway).

I just want to say that while it works, it is truly a poorly constructed appliance. For example, the door does not close properly, unless you slam it. I'm not saying it is a piece of junk, and for this price it is a good deal, but be aware it is not a kenmore or whatever. If you read the reviews on it you'll find plenty of other folks with the same frustration on build and quality.

The coupon generator codes no longer work.. unless you want to try inputting 100+ codes on the odd chance of hitting a good one.

Thanks Op - my microwave just died, so this is well timed. Coupon generator didn't work, but I got a $20 off coupon that worked for under $2 on eBay.

This model sells for $280 on Amazon with 3.9 stars - main complaint is that the beeping is annoying. For $110 + tax I'll take it.

Do over the range need to be in a cabinet or something? Can it just be used standalone?

Thanks OP was debating buying a new door for my over the range but that part alone cost more than the dang microwave. Was able to get a $20 coupon. I kept count. It took 68 tries. Was gonna give up at 100.

Wow good deal for this unit. Bought this exact one about a year ago for ~$200, and it was on sale then. Been pretty happy with it so far. Be careful during install, the metal underneath the bottom is pretty thin. I pushed a little too hard trying to get my holes to line up, and I pushed in the one side, so now my LEDs are a little uneven in the direction they shine on my stove. :-( But overall it's a very good unit!

Yes, they've made it much more difficult to generate codes. I was able to get one to work but if you don't have the time buying one is your best bet.

The bottoms of these aren't usually finished, nor do they have feet.. so you'd have to build a platform or something. Also, the top/sides might not be super aesthetic either.
