spec sheet:

off hand the spec sheet looks decent, only negative I noticed was "DWDR" - as I prefer non-digital WDR instead.

Not certain is this is a Hikvision OEM product or another OEM, as LaView now carries various products from various OEMs

Note: for those owning your home, or allowed to setup a wired system - go wired IP PoE, it will be more reliable than WiFi ( security cameras are constantly streaming and while WiFi works for many things, for security cameras it really is not a reliable way to setup your system. )

Hi Dave,

I've replied to you numerous times on this topic... why do you want me to repeat over and over again the same? Are you not understanding or just wanting to be a troll?

Also, are you being paid to be a troll and promote fake news? Maybe working for the Kremlin?

HI Dave,

As you have requested, I have added commentary on the Arlo deal on the FP that you're pushing

I use mobile Apps to determine that.Laview net and Laview connect should be Hikvision OEM and works the same as Hik Connect. Doesn't seem like they have a Laview app for their Dahua products. They tell you to use Dahua apps instead.

I have this on my detached garage and record on a Hikvision NVR and Synology DS218. Saved me good effort to run the network cable.

Hi NeatCabbage

Thanks, did you need to do anything special to connect to your Hikvision NVR? ( configure IP? port? user/ password.. )

FYI - One option for detached garages is powerline adapters ... of course depends on your electrical line circuit setup.

I don't think I modified port or IP with the camera. It showed up in the NVR menu after I added the camera to the router and punch in the logins. Similar process as adding my other wired Hikvision cameras

Hi guest

Not from LaView... sometimes Amcrest has black wifi bullet cameras on sale, however I think this is the best deal I have seen on a decent wifi bullet with rtsp ( and ONVIF iirc ).

Suggest a can of black spray paint ( normally a vendor has to buy a minimum number of cameras to get a price break - and that applies PER color )

Would this work with milestone xprotect essential+? Quick searches point to an onvif bridge I might have to install.

I assume this is just for the camera. It can't run on it's own right? Like plug and play where i can use the app to remote into look at live view.
