the text will be borderline unreadable, and the buttons will be too small to push. not a good experience at all. definitely better on an iPad.

TY! I went ahead and snagged planescape torment + icewind dale, as I never got around to finishing these. Here's hoping mobile version will give more opportunity.

I have never played any of these. Which would be the best to pick up? Are they akin to Diablo?

Any comments on these games? How are they on smaller screens?

Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale are both fantastic games.

That being said, I don't know how they would pack this game into a mobile platform for touch. From what I remember there were a lot of keystrokes and hotkeys that you needed to really manage your party well. Also, the overall view is from a 3rd person perspective so I can't imagine viewing this on a small screen is going to be fun...

Great games though. These were my intro to the RPG tabletop universe so they'll always hold a special place.

All of them are very fun games. My favorite is probably Planescape Torment from a pure story perspective. The others are good as well (especially via multiplayer). I do not know how well they translate to mobile. I played them all on PC.

Meh. Kinda. More rpg/dtory focused than diablo thats more arcade like. Still great games just slower paced.

I know it's a bit off-topic, but I found Knights of the Old Republic to be a pretty good mobile adaptation. While it doesn't play quite as well as the PC version, it's still fun and it runs well on even old clunky tablets. Here's hoping they put out KOTOR2 some day.

My fave games. I wonder how they pull this off on small screens...
