I went today. These are not the chunky pieces but more like dust. I didn't get any. Waiting for the scotts to go on sale.

Yeah, I've always had good luck with the Scotts brand.

This brand has always given me nice chunky pieces. Maybe it's a regional thing (North Central Florida)

Natural brown. The red is natural red and the black is natural black.

The red and black are dyed(never used the brown). I had some of the dye get on my concrete driveway but my electric pressure washer took it off no problem. It cleans off your hands pretty easy too. I bought 3 yards in bulk from a local supplier here and will never do that again. They use a stronger dye and its alot harder to get off Mad

I am in georgia and ive been satisfied with the vigoro too. I have put down about 50 bags so far. Ive always used the scotts earthgro over the last 2 years but decided to change it up this year. Main reason is I noticed the scotts mulch is made from pine bark/wood chips so around month 9 that alot of it moves around because its so light weight. Its fine for the first 8 months but after it dries out it can be moved with strong winds/rains. I do have alot of slope I mulch so that could be a big factor too. I wanted to go with bigger/heavier pieces.
