Not an authorized seller so there is no warranty... There have been better prices with that situation.

So there's no manufacturer warranty?

Sony is a bitch about purchases not made from "Authorized Retailers"... Not worth it if you ask me.

Was considering these, the Bose, and the Studio 3s. Ended up getting the Studio 3s for $215 since they have the W1 chip, which sets them between Bluetooth 4.0 and 5.0.

I'm also considering these and the Studio3s. Where did you get the Studio3s for $215?

i have a number of noise cancellation headphone, and i generally dislike Bose. but QC 35 is the most conformable headphone i have for 5+ hour flights.
if i want sound quality, i got Beyer T1 for that.

These have ldac which sounds better paired with another ldac device.

I was doing a bit of research on these and the Bose and wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on headphones as my primary use would be for movies and music when traveling a handful of times a year and decided to get the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2s for $132 on Amazon and they're pretty awesome so far. Just my two cents for anyone else who is in the same situation I was in Smilie

It can say whatever it wants. Trying to get Sony to honor it could be a challenge. If that is worth it to you then buy it but you might as well wait until Rakuten runs 15% off again and get from one of the sellers there if you just want the lowest price.
