NotebookCheck has a review of a similar HP Envy x360 15.6" but with a hard drive instead of SSD.
The points about screen dimness, build quality etc. might still be relevant here.
If you don't want to read the full review, just scroll to the final Verdict:

I posted this in another thread but wanted to make people aware.

So. I bought the Envy from Costco with the intent to price match when the ad came out. Here are my conclusions with a 2 day review. Build quality is excellent. Solid materials with a full aluminum frame. Ports are plentiful. Touchscreen is snappy and responsive. The battery life was terrible, the screen brightness was very dim, and the touchpad was absolute rubbish. It jumps around with light finger movement. I returned it and bought the Dell Inspiron 7000 series with the Ryzen 7 that was recently on sale at Best Buy. (The sale has ended). The Dell was night and day better. Screen brighter. Touchpad more accurate. Build just felt more solid. The keyboard offset on the Envy would also take some getting used to, as it isn't centered on the screen because of the number pad.

Biggest complaint of all for the Envy - the audio driver seems to not function well with the hardware. I instantly had speaker crackling and the volume would drop to half as loud. This is a known issue with the audio drivers. It was super frustrating. I updated, deleted, and reinstalled drivers. Full system reboot. Nothing worked.

I am planning to pick this up tomorrow. Can someone suggest a good Memory upgrade deal? Looking to go to 16GB.

Yes, per Costco website "Full-size Island-style Backlit Keyboard". Will go to Costco today to pick one up.

Bought one on a whim yesterday....like the looks, speakers are irrelevant, screen a bit dim. Biggest issues so far are the keyboard being off center...not sure if i'll ever get used to it. Plus the keys aren't great. Nor is the trackpad, but I use a mouse so not a deal breaker. Poor battery life irrelevant as I basically use it as a desktop replacement. Not sure what the pen is for...don't know if i'll ever use it.

I'll probably return it....but will live with it for a few more weeks.

I have this exact same laptop. Speakers are okay, touchscreen is fine, but the screen is the ugliest pile of garbage I've ever seen on a laptop. I've seen TN panels that's brighter than this and it has a permanent yellow stain because all the colors are warm. You can color calibrate it to make it more cooler, but then the already dim screen becomes even dimmer. Even at max brightness, it's still extremely dim.

HP uses the cheapest parts for laptop screen. Avoid if you want bright vivid screen.

Wow, this laptop sounds like garbage. The whole package looks nice on paper but terrible in reality. I'm glad I didn't get one.
