As someone who works outside in Alaska, I've seen a lot of guys around here rocking these. They seem to love it. Waterproofing is a must up here. I'd totally try these if I didn't just buy a new set of Danners.

The same seller also has the soft toe version in the Wheat color for 65.99.

Great quality I have had two sets one didn't last the year due to my work use caused the bottom sole to crack, they replaced them without any issue. And after words they checked up to make sure the new boots where working out good.

I ordered a pair for myself and can say they fit true to size (in 9.5 at least), and are quite comfortable. They aren't stiff like a lot of work boots have a tendency to be, but are still constructed with thick, soft oiled leather.

I'm hopeful that the rubberized toe helps with durability in my case. For whatever reason I tear gashes in the toes of my boots quickly, exposing the steel beneath the leather.

These are my first Keen shoes/boots, and first impressions are good. They're quite popular in the Pacific Northwest and especially in my area which is heavily hiked and hunted.

Giving them a shot. If I get a season out of them then I'm happy. Seems people complain about the tread but as a landscaper it shouldn't be a big deal. Thanks

Great price for a great boot from a great company.

Pi ked up a set. Almost ordered 2. Probably should.

One note to those that don't know about Keen's customer service. Even if you get a great deal like this on eBay, warranty isn't a problem. They are fully warrantied for a year. If they leak, they will replace them. I had a set of Detroits I bought from the Sears website. They were new, but had no box. I paid about $50 for them. They leaked after about 8 months. I called Keen to see if they had a fix for it. Guy told me to take a picture along with the receipt and email it to them and they would warranty them. I explained I got them no box for 1/4 retail. He said no problem, they want to replace them. Great company.

If these are Baltimore boots, does that mean they're made from Kevlar.
