This is equal to what I paid for the same thing on Black Friday. Good deal. Good blades.

Great blades at a great price! Folks who swear only by yellow blades should try these.

I know the 60 should give a clearer cut then the 40 but are there any downsides?

You have to cut slower

Makes sense. Does it last as long? If you try to go faster will it just not go or will it start to bind?

You may scorch the blade or bind it. Just a general rule of thumb, the smaller the teeth, the slower you need to cut. Unless you are cutting 4x4s or something, you can use a higher tooth count safely. The amount of extra time is negligible unless you are building a large project.

Decent price. Many of the contractors around me use the 40T as their default blade. The 60T would be the one for fine work, like a miter saw.
I picked up three 2 packs of each, the 40T and 60T. Basically 1/2 price. Too bad they didn't have the 24T framing blades in the deal too
