The yogurt function can be used to proof dough for bread. I've done it with the no-knead recipes. Conventional method takes about 12-18 hours. Proofing with IP yogurt feature, I can start it mid-afternoon and have the dough ready to bake in time for dinner.

Duo has the yogurt feature. I'd pass on this one and get the duo at Kohls for $56 + $10 kohls cash.

Not arguing, just trying to educate myself. Why do I want the yogurt feature, assuming I don't make yogurt? I also don't have a kohls card, anything else I miss out on with this deal?

I also said I didn't need the yogurt function, especially bcz I know how to make it on the stove. But seeing everyone's posts on FB and the pics they post, I got jealous and said I needed a second pot with the yogurt function. I'm kinda glad things turned out the way they did though, cuz now i can run 2 pots at the same time!

I'm thinking about it. I'm just a lonely bachelor so I don't cook much, mostly stews and stuff. I am more interested the smaller details like I hear the lid design is a little better on the Duo so condensation splatters less

I bake allot and theres no way you want to proof dough for 12-18 hours.

What are the different levels of Instant Pot? I hear a lot of people saying pass on the Duo when it's on sale, so I just thought that it was on the lower end, but here everyone says Duo is better than Lux. What's better than Duo?

If you make bread, you can use the yogurt feature to proof bread.

I just looked and the lowest I see at Kohls with 30% off is $99. Am I missing something?
