Ridgid R45171NS 15 Amp Corded 10 in. Compact Table Saw $219

Hello,

First post here! I have been searching for table saws for the past year and found this deal while browsing Home Depot. This is originally $299 but there is a savings of $80 (27% off). I spoke to someone in chat and he said this deal runs until the end of the month. I wasn't able to find any other recent deals for this saw. The next comparable price is at Home Depot but the product has a stand included for $329 but that doesn't have any savings currently. This is a well reviewed portable table saw. This was last on sale back in October 2018 for $219 but hasn't gone down in price since then.

The product is Ridgid R45171NS (No stand) for $219. Shipping is free and was faster than the in-store pick up option. Don't forget to register your product within 90 days! Unfortunately, they are not able to ship to GU, PR, and VI.

Here is more information from the Ridgid manufacture website.

This is at BEST a POS, adding the stand only makes it worse

Wait till Lowes makes the C10RJ Hitachi ~300 again or the DWE7491RS pops up
Care to elaborate? Nearly 400 4+ star reviews on HD.

If you're ignoring cost.

That Hitachi is a turd. look at the reviews, even the recent ones. At Lowes they're giving you a 10" miter saw for free with purchase of one. Still not worth the gamble.

That model Dewalt isn't any better than the Skil SPT99. SKILSAW duplicated Dewalt's rack & pinion, but has a better motor & worm drive.

I bought this last time it got cheap. It's fine. Nothing to write home about. My only complaint is the infeed length is only about 6". But it's a job site style table saw, so hard to complain about that.

This is a good mobile table saw. I've used it and it seemed much better than most under 400. If you're after ultra precise fine woodworking results this is NOT for you. edit DeWalt makes a far better one under 350

I've been keeping an eye on HD table saws and I don't think this price is any cheaper than what it has been for the past two months. I think the only difference is now they added the $299 MSRP price so all of sudden you have $80 off. In fact, it may have been $209 at one point, unless HD no longer carries that specific one. I don't really need one, but want to have one in case I decide to do a project that requires a table saw.

I literally just loaded the 4513 table saw on my truck after using a lowes coupon from Ebay and getting it for 450. I shit my pants when I got the notification for this but then realized this was the cheaper one lol

I think this is a okay price. Black Friday had it with the rolling stand for $299. I'm going to wait until then

According to my Home Depot receipt, I bought this saw (R45171NS) on 12/27/2018 for $199.00. I believe the MSRP has always been $299, but MSRP is only a suggestion, after all. I originally bought this saw when I made built-ins for my Living Room. It has met my needs just fine. I'm not a woodworker, just a DIY-er, so I'm sure there are better saws out there for projects that require more precision. Back when I was looking for a table saw, my requirements were that it needed to cost under $300, be compact and lightweight enough to be stored on an overhead shelf (no workshop or basement), and have overall positive reviews. The Ridgid Lifetime Warranty is a nice bonus. Overall, for the price and what I use it for, I have zero complaints.

Edit: FYI for the OP, here's when it was last on sale for $199 at HD:
