Saw this TV at BestBuy in the dark room. It looks nice for what it is but when you turn and look at the OLEDs you can see the difference in picture quality instantly. I'd rather spend a bit more and get the 77 inch OLED.
This is my dilemma. Apparently the viewing angle capabilities on the OLED dominate this thing. I have a man cave room perfect for this Q9. And I'd love the extra $1k in my wallet. Very torn. Hoping C8 77" gets to $3500 soon or if ever or Q9 at $2500. Whatever one first. I pull the trigger

50% more isn't a "bit more." That is a massive amount more at these prices. Not to mention OLED isn't "better" either. It just does some things better where as QLED does other things better. The Q8 and Q9 are both fantastic for dark room performance with their deep blacks.

The QLED is a couple nits brighter at peak and will be completely indistinguishable.

The OLED differences cannot be unseen once seen.

This is a decent deal, but no reason to lie to people about it.
Point out the lie.

Apparently you didn't see the thread here where the 77 C8 OLED is at $3899. Yeah I would rather spend a grand more for a better overall picture. You can tell the difference when they are in the same room playing the same 4k content.

I don't think Walmart sold the Q9FN's.??..
They only sold the entry level Qleds- the Q6FN..

Q9FN is too premium for Walmart hehe.

LG OLED is not "better" than QLED.

Go read any review ever.

"Between the different types of TVs, OLED TVs trump LED TVs in almost every aspect. Picture quality and motion blur are especially far ahead on OLEDs. Unfortunately, Samsung's QLEDs did not do much to bridge the gap between the two technologies and in some ways even regressed in performance."

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...led-vs-led

OLED wins in basically everything and QLED in some ways is even worse than LED.
Pathetic response. Go shill a little harder somewhere else instead of bringing nonsense and misinforming people like Rtings does. This is a great price for this TV although I don't particularly trust the seller.

Shouldn't you be bouncing your TV like a basketball to increase the brightness a couple nits?

Yes, Rtings is "nonsense" and "misinforming."

Super genius right here folks.
