Is this actually DPP which you can pay off or bill credits?
Last month I looked at the moto z from best buy and it says DPP but you have to stay for 24 months.

Good morning dap0425, do you think I might be able to ask you to help us out with a screenshot of where you are finding this mentioned so that the thread may be removed if necessary, please?

Normally, if bill credits are involved, the Best Buy website will display text like this: https://i.imgur.com/F9Jpr1J.jpg
I wasn't seeing it on the Moto Z2 Play today, however (want to be sure I didn't miss it): https://i.imgur.com/q6mT3Rp.jpg

This should hopefully be similar to the two offers from February that were posted here and here. Either way: yes - please be sure the paperwork at checkout does not state bill credits are involved before purchasing, everyone. Thanks in advance Smilie

post a screenshot... ok i see you owned up to it. nice deal OP. but $40 activation & $24 tax sour it a bit. how does this compare to the z2 forces we got $100-$130 few months ago? i hope it doesnt have the same "easily scratched screen" issue as z2 force.

just saw a review on Amazon complaining about the "screen scratching easily" issue.

If I pay for the phone $24 and activate on a current line that has a $20 line fee, will this be considered an upgrade and will they charge me a $40 line fee?

I canceled mine due to 40 activation fee. 65 for a 2017 mid range to me is a fair deal. I think I would rather get the free stylo 4 from MerroPCS for a mid range.

I'm talking about the line charge per month when you upgrade a phone. I know in the past it went to $40 a month and I do not want that to happen

It would stay at $20. It only goes to $40 when you are under 2 year contract on smartphones, which you can't do on consumer lines anymore, assuming that you are on the new Verizon plan unlimited or newer plan.

It's an ok deal if you need a phone compatible with Verizon postpaid. If you don't need that then I wouldn't get this phone.
