At minimum, it costs $12/month for 100 mins & 100 texts. No data. It will cover 5 months. Don't know if there are taxes/fees. Good deal for $5

They lure you in with the low upfront cost but their rates are steep. Would recommend going with tello instead even if there isn't a signing promo there

It's mentioned on the Weekly Ad. Screen grab added to the deal now.

Is this the right link?

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ting...Id=6134436

Also, what network? I thought it was Sprint, but Google seems to say T-Mobile/Sprint... just unsure it will work with my phone

That's the right link. Although this page doesn't show the bonus $30, it is mentioned on the weekly ad. The product page shows GSM and it has to be with T-Mobile.

Oh, perfect. This will probably be a good replacement for my emergency phone... it's a 3rd party unlocked "Boost" iPhone SE. As far as I know, it'll only work with Boost and T-Mobile/T-Mobile MVNOs

For emergency/short term back up phone plan, I recommend tracfone plan ( recent promotion of 50/year ), Tello ( Pay as you go ) or H2O pay as you go.

Tracfone's deal is 1200min/1200 text/3GB per year for 50 bucks. I think one can roll over un-used to next year if you renew within 365 days.

Tello is sprint MVNO. 3 cent a min / text/ 3 cents/MB. But the expirataion on credit at least 3 months or longer. 10 bucks goes a long way.

H2O is att mvno. I think they are 5 cents per min/text. 10 bucks credit last 90 days. If one refill within 90 days, credit rolls over.

Ting charges over 10 bucks a month with so little to offer. Even for 5 bucks seems wasteful. You will just be paying 5 bucks, then let it eroded away in 5 months without actually using the phone much.

Does this have data included?

The link takes me to a generic ad, not sure which page the deal is on.

Also, I am in the process of moving and will be porting my current number to Google Voice. So I am planning to get a new SIM/Service with a new number solely for the purpose of using data to be able to access my Google Voice number. Would that work?

Good deal if you need to temporary port a number (eg. going from TMobile to Teltik).
