Brooklyn Bedding Offering 25% off sitewide until 5/27/2019

I've been eyeing a new bed at Brooklyn Bedding for a few weeks now... they prettymuch offer 20% everyday. Apparently for Memorial Day, they are offering 25% off with promo code MEMORIAL25

They have showrooms in Arizona and Utah.... otherwise it's a "bed in a box" delivered to your home for free.

They also have Mattress protectors, sheets, and Adjustable Foundations available on their site.

Amazon also has some of their products (only at the 20% discount), but there are some reviews there if you want to check those out or you could go to some of the "professional" mattress review sites like tuck.com, sleepare.com, sleepopolis.com, ect....

We had a tough time picking between the Bear Hybrid, Nest Signature Hybrid, and Brooklyn Aurora (Hybrid). They are all very similar, and it's hard to choose a mattress online with all the paid review sites. We ended up with the Bear Hybrid about 2 months ago, based on price, materials, and some great customer service reviews. They were also running a $300 coupon at the time. Bear is now running a Memorial Day sale (20% off) if you want to check them out.

I have also read Brooklyn makes you find a charity to take the mattress if you are not happy, and that can be a pain. Most around here will not take mattresses. Brooklyn was also the most expensive after discount.

I can say we are very happy with the Bear Hybrid. It is very supportive and comfy. We are pretty active and were experiencing back pain and tossing and turning on our 1yr old Zinus Green Tea gel memory foam Amazon mattress. The cheap mattresses seem to wear out quickly. We are both sleeping well now and no more pain on the Bear 🐻. Only time will tell, but it seems to be well thought out with quality materials.

Thanks for posting this, just purchased a King Aurora medium for under $1,600. I hope our Kirkland sheets fit well and my wife and I like it, with summer coming we'd like something that sleeps cooler.

Thank you for posting this. First of all I wasn't aware that BB makes you find charity that makes it a potential PITA to get rid of and very inconvenient. Of course if I knew 100% I would be happy with it, that would be a moot point. I'll be contacting BB to confirm this, otherwise I may cancel our order. We've narrowed it down to BB Aurora, Nest Alexander Hybrid Latex and Bear Hybrid.

If you don't mind me asking (feel free to PM me) are you or your sleeping partner heavier, normal or petite weights? It's so difficult to find the right mattress with the right amount of support/spinal alignment but enough "give" and sleeps cool.

We are both pretty average sized (5'11" 170lbs, 5'8" 130lbs). I will say that the Bear Hybrid is probably firmer than the Nest and BB, but not in a bad way. We were looking for a bit more support. The top "comfort layers" are nice and soft and sleep pretty cool, but there is a good bit of spinal support at the core. It sleeps more like an innerspring, as there isn't much sinkage but the motion isolation is good. We didn't want to get burned with foam that wears out after a year, and after a ton of research we felt like the Bear offered the best value.

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. The Bear Hybrid had the best deal at the time. I have read really good things about the Brooklyn Aurora too. We were leaning toward BB until I read about return hassle. They have been around for a while, manufacture their own product and are said to sleep very cool.
