Is this a good price? I think more powerful pure sinewave units have been cheaper in the past

I purchased my 810 watt earlier in the year for $120, so this is not a good price. I would keep on waiting, yes it was also pure sine wave.

I've had bad luck with APC and would recommend CyberPower instead

FWIW I have owned both manufacturers, and honestly have had zero issues in the 1.5yrs. I have a Cyberpower 1500VA, and an APC SMT1500.

Do they make 1600w systems? What would be a good price for one of those?

CyberPower 1325 goes on sale every few months. I honestly thought it was APC when I first thought of it at work, got home to double check it was CP.

I also purchased a CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD which was 900 watts with a simulated sine that has been working out very well too for $105.

I prefer CyberPower. Too many bad reviews on these APC UPS devices about bad batteries.

I've had APC save my ass twice. Warranty was great.

Don't trust Amazon reviews or whatever since most tend to be fake in one direction or the other.

I've had issues with APC and Cyberpower. I'd recommend an inverter generator instead.
