A 10" version was released with a camera. Not cheap but it exists.

The seller's feedbacks show people receiving used Xboxes as new or the item never shows up. No one answering the phone or returning calls. I'd be wary.

as a digital photo frame it's worth the money for $50ish... super easy to setup and i'm always looking at the photos and smiling. So if you find any other regular use out of it besides spotify speaker then it's just gravy.

would love to have the new version but not at $230... may as well get an ipad at that price

Does this one show your front door when someone rings your nest doorbell?
Yes, but the nest needs to be on the newer firmware.. I have 2 nest hello, been bitching to them for 8 months.. one is on latest where this works and announces perfectly.

the other nest hello one is on firmware 4.0008 or something and it does not show the doorbell video and times out.

I tested both hub on the other door bell, issue is the firmware of nest hello. Check what version you have on the hello door bell

Try doing a factory reset on the one with the older firmware and see if it will auto update to the latest firmware after factory reset.

This is a solid deal! You can't even get them used on ebay for this price. Been waiting for something like this to come along. Will make a nice addition to my Google-centric home.

nope i tried everything.. including reset & cutting power for a few days to the doorbell.. nest forums has been dead on the firmware issue

would be great if im able to hook it up to the pc to upgrade it.. i know the stuff works but it needs the newest firmware

Great deal and remember that this is NOT just a tablet.. actually a tablet cannot do some of the things this can do thanks to hardware dependent / locked software features.

People expect it to do things that Google DOES NOT advertise in ANY way for it to do, I truly dont see the disappointment.. it delivers on literally everything it promises, nothing more - nothing less. I assume some are just fake comments or are bitter at Google for whatever reason.

By the way, this makes for an incredibly nice alarm clock or hub for the bathroom.. you can get an overview of your day (like shown in the pic) plus they're constantly updating it. You can use digital controls to change various things like the temperature in your house or to see interactively what door/window alarm was triggered.

It's a lot for a little, don't listen to the haters .

D'oh, chalk is sold out. I guess I can make do with charcoal in my bedroom.

Dang you slickdeals. Mine was an Echo household and now I'm adding a Hub to the mix.

Thanks. I'm getting it as a gift so I'll pass. Don't wanna end up with the embarassment if the item was used.
I'm in the same boat! I'll keep looking for deals on these.

I'm not sure a genuine slickdealer would be embarassed by that.
