Did Anybody that bought it last week have received yet? Any comments? Is it really refurbished? If so, how is the quality? Is it a good receiver? Just trying to replace my 777. Thank you

Costco has lifetime return on this (I believe), so yeah it's a tough call.

I bought this last week. Really happy thus far with my purchase. If I didn't know it was refurbished, I would have never known. Set it up with my Klipsch 3.1 system, and am looking forward to turning that into a 5.1.2 ASAP.
The only downside for me, and hopefully it's an easy fix, is I put all my media stuff hidden behind my TV (and remote is IR line of sight only). I have a harmony hub, and that works well. But doesn't allow me to change receiver settings, so I need an IR repeater that works with this model.

I have a harmony hub too. Does the harmony IR blaster not work with this Yamaha?

The harmony hub works just fine. I use it with my fire tv, Apple TV, cable box, etc for all my inputs in to the receiver. But there are so many more buttons and setting on the Yamaha remote, that can't be controlled with just the harmony remote.
