For a limited time, select customers will get $5 in promotional credit when they open Amazon Assistant in their browser by clicking on the icon five days within 14 days after activating challenge. Restrictions apply; see below for details.

How to redeem this offer:

Click on the Amazon Assistant icon in your browser to view the offer within the Amazon Assistant Home tab feed.
Activate the offer by clicking on the 'Let's do it' button. Once you do this, you will see that you have earned your first out of five points. You have 14 days left to earn a total of five points to get your $5 credit.
You earn a point for every day you click on the Amazon Assistant icon in your browser and view the Home tab feed. You may need to refresh the feed in order to see your latest status. A day resets at midnight ET.
Be sure to stay signed into the same Amazon account and marketplace within Amazon Assistant to keep earning points.
If you have earned five points within 14 days of activating offer, you will be eligible for the $5 credit.
Your credit will be available 72 hours after earning the last point. Just open Amazon Assistant after this time to see a card with a link to claim credit.


Terms and conditions for offer:
Offer available for a limited time and must be activated by 11:59 p.m. (PT) May 22nd, 2019. You will have 14 days after activation to complete the challenge.

Offer limited to one per customer and account.
The maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is $5 in Amazon.com promotional credit.
Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.
Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid.
Promotional credit expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) July 8th, 2019.
Eligible orders must be initiated through the Amazon Assistant web extension.
Offer only applies to orders of products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC (look for "sold by Amazon.com" or "sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC" on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible."
Promotional credit will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order.
If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies.

I did this when it was last offer but got the email so I'll try again. Pretty easy to do and so far shows 1 day satisfied.

I'm up to 3 out of the 5 so far. Just open Amazon Assistant each day, search for any item, let it load. Then re-load the Amazon Assistant and the counter will update.

I opened the Assistant for 5 days and on the 5th day it said, "Congratulations, you completed the challenge and your credit is on its way. Check back here after 48 hours of completion to claim it."

It's been over 72 hours, and the Assistant doesn't show anything to claim. Anyone know how much longer it takes?

Just checked again, still no way to claim the $5. See attached for message on Day 5 (5/24) which was 4 days ago. I think they want us to keep checking the Assistant for much longer than the stated 5 days to condition the response...

As the rest of you, I completed the promo and got confirmation in the app, but never received the promo. Amazon chat essentially called me a liar and refused to assist in any way.

That's crazy, I was just successful through chat, told them "signed up for a promo where I would get a $5 credit for using Amazon assistant extension for chrome web browser for 5 days within 14 days, I did that and it said I'd get my $5 credit within 48 hours and it's been 3 days."

The rep just kept repeating that if I had qualified I would have received an email. I offered a screenshot of the completion confirmation in the app and he just repeated the bit about the email again.

My experience over the last couple years has been that Amazon CS is hit or miss - more miss when it comes to promotions or other discounts. Last year I contacted them to inquire about an issue with our employee discount not being applied and the rep insisted there is no employee discount. (Well, not for him because he works for a 3rd party support company contracted by Amazon, not Amazon.). That took over a dozen calls/emails to get sorted and didn't get resolved until I got an actual Amazon employee in the US on the phone.

Oh that sucks, I think they might have that it was some type of prime promo.

Yes it is! Expires 41 days from today so July 8.

PS. You have the add the items you want to the cart through the Amazon Assistant. If you add them any other way, you won't see the $5 discount.
