Wowwww bought this TV from the same seller for 2k this is pretty good. And don't worry about the seller I've asked Samsung and they will honor warranty from this seller.

How is the delivery process. I just had a P75 delivered by Costco and it looked like someone took a sledge hammer to the screen. It seems like the company that delivers for them has a bad reputation and its the only one they use.

Dang, paid $1,899.00 for same tv from the same seller last month. Delivery took a little over 2 weeks to arrive in the bay area, CA, shipping is from Florida.

They carried the tv up to the second floor and took it out of the box for me to inspect before leaving. No issues whatsoever. Would purchase from them again, especially since they didn't charge tax on my purchase.

You have that in writing from them? This was discussed in other forums and that seller is NOT an authorized reseller. They also sell/sold the 82 inch for $2,099.

Q7 neither has local dimming, nor dolby vision (has its own version of HDR 10+ though but I'd take dolby vision over that). If you get Q6 substantially cheaper than Q7, then Q6 is better value for money, else go for Q8

Samsung is not in the Dolby Vision camp, so none of their TV have Dolby Vision, even their flagship Q900. Q7 does have some sort of local dimming, but it is edge lit and not full array backlight, so the local dimming is not as good as Q8, which has a full array and also costs over $2K for 75".

I was at the store a few months ago where they had the line up from Q6 to Q9 side by side... the Q7 is significantly brighter than the Q9, I paid attention to the Q7 at that time since it was in the budget, but with the lineup dropping in price, it puts the Q8 and 9 into my budget.

On the same note, my sister has the KS8000 which I thought looks really really good. I would get a 75 KS8000 if it was availble.

In market for a 85" equivalent for about $2k. Any recommendations? Considering the xbr85 850 series if it goes on sale this memorial weekend.
