I'm sorry for your unhappy childhood carrying over to your unhappy adulthood.

You don't want it, don't buy it. But don't knock down others' interests.

"Commercialized toys" has got to be the best part of it.
Like nah man I'm real. I only play with old aluminum cans and corn husk dolls.

Nice easy way to get a 6 year olds brain locked into brand names and superheros so they become great consumers who can not think of their own. I bet such commercialized toys are made only for the US market. Totally against creativity of lego.

So, either a DCU fan, or you were never loved as a child.. I was playing with my X-Men figures from the TV show, yet still had the creative ability to make very nice Lego forts and vehicles. If you don't like something, best keep it to yourself.

Oh, and thanks and in for one for the kiddo.

You know that as a LEGO build it doesn't have to remain that way right? Whats great about these sets is it teaches kids and adults LEGO building techniques that goes beyond stacking the 2x4 stud brick. Build it, play with it, disassemble it and build something else.
