This seems like a great deal. The only concern would be this trimmer is 13" and uses the thinner .08 line. The Ego is a 15" and uses .095.

I just bought the crafsman 60V string trimmer from Lowes for $180 after coupon. Is this comparable? Craftsman is 15 inch cut and can use .080 or .095 line.

Can anyone help me with whether this would be better for weeds than those propane weed burners?

I got this last weekend and used it twice. I would recommend this product. I have converted all my lawn maintenance equipment to battery operated. All you do is charge the battery and go!
I used to dread spring time becuase I would have to devote half a day to getting everything to start.
Only thing I have yet to convert is my riding mower, the battery operated ones cost to much to justify at the moment.

Ego is way better trimmer for that price and cheaper.

Otherwise this is still a way better bargin. Only thing is battery blowers eat batteries soo it's nice to have 2.

This is better than the dewalt deal in every way other than battery price and availability

BTW this deal is a repost from a week ago

I have the blower and love it. I would be concerned about having only one battery to share between the two devices though, especially if you have a larger yard. If the battery runs out, I have to wait about an hour for it to cool down before it will charge.
