I don't but down the road I will, I think I'll wait for the 8220, the cordless would be worth the extra $30

Maybe that price with less attachments but not 8220-2/28

The 2/28 is the extra battery. The single battery has been on sale for $72

It comes with an extra battery too but the 2 in 2/28 means 2 attachments. Also includes A550 Shield Rotary Attachment.

After some comments from people in another post talking about the WEN tool, I was gonna lean towards that since it was also at about $20 with the Dremel 200.. any significant convincing point to fork over another $20 for this tool?

love this tool. For my computer builds and just various things around the house this tool is fantastic. I think I have most of the attachments . I also have the 8220 cordless version . Damn great tool

If you don't have a Dremel, but you're a homeowner and aspiring bubba gunsmith, which version do you want?

Is the cordless significantly less powerful or worth it over a corded model?

For cleaning and polishing the cordless should be great. I have both and I prefer my corded one cutting metal. Otherwise I use the cordless.

Not sure what all bubba gunsmith would require from a Dremel.

Are these easy to cut a 2x4 wood? I live in an apartment and cannot use circular saws.

No, it's not. You need a small battery powered circular.
