It is well reviewed on Amazon and looks like worth the buy.

Thanks OP. Needed one. Actually another as I got one back in 2017 as well. Nothing but good things to say about it.

Bought this a few weeks back last time it showed up on slickdeals. I love have a pad that fits both my keyboard and mouse. Keyboard doesn't slide around, I have a huge surface area to use my mouse so it never drags off onto the desk itself. I'm tempted to get my wife one as well for her work....

I haven't tried this Pecham, but after testing multiple mouse pads recently, I highly recommend the Perixx DX-1000, and the Cooler Master MP510.

Either of these pads offer a fast glide of any cloth mouse pad.

Cooler Master MP510 [amazon.com]

Perixx DX-1000 [amazon.com]

Edit: Did some more testing, and found that instead of the Perrix DX-1000 above, I would instead recommend this Lycra pad from Ktrio instead [amazon.com], with a more consistent and faster glide. Then of course, you have the choice of the Cooler Master MP510, which has a rougher, more denim-like texture for tactile feedback that some may prefer.

I have a similar one that doesn't work with my optical mouse. The QandA says it does work with optical, though.

Does anyone have any experience with this and optical mice?

I've had one for well over two years now. I enjoy it, I use it daily, constantly, for work- it's held up great. That being said, it stunk for months and months before the stench disappeared after I first bought it. Definitely some off-gassing, so I'd recommend against if you may have a bit of a sensitive nose.

I had a cheap Amazon gaming mouse that would not work at all on certain surfaces, like my smooth wooden table, and then work perfectly with a piece of paper. Some mice are weird that way, and I would suspect it's the mouse. No idea how the technology really works so just guessing.

I have had two of these in the past, and they've been very good, especially for the sale price. However, I prefer the Corsair ones that I've been able to get for around $13 on sale: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...TF8&psc=1. They're thinner, seem to have a better surface (smoother?), and feel like they're higher quality. Just my 2 cents worth (no refunds).

One bonus seems to be a little less noise with mechanical keyboards... In addition to o-rings, it seems like the softer surface reduces noise and "shock" when typing. Hope this helps!
