Why don't we start posting deals on yatchs and helicopters? I've been coming to Slickdeals since 2004 and don't understand why this is being posted at all, and I appreciate a good watch. Luxury goods that number in the thousands of dollars are not the target audience for this website.
Even if that's true, couldn't a site change to include all people who want to save money? There are definitely people who did not grow up with the money needed to afford this who now can afford it and also remember what it was like to pinch pennies or be on a budget. I'm not one of them, btw just in case you think I'm biased. But I do love watches, which is why I come into these threads. TU OP!

Tear down of this watch:

Too many other good watches around this price point for me to consider this one, but it's a good price.

You don't get to decide who the target audience is.

I have four watches that range from 5k-10k each and I visit slickdeals multiple times a day.

Don't like a particular deal, stay out of the comments. Why is that so hard for some of you people?
Thats nothin' I have seven watches that range from 8k-13k each and I visit slickdeals many times a day.

Boomers lined their pockets and ruined the economy for the next generations and now they buy these ugly $4000 watches to further rub it in our faces.
You really went and made a new account just to post that dumb comment?

The El Primero movement in this Zenith was used by Rolex in their Daytona before they built their own in-house movement.

The current problem with Rolex is people who know nothing about watches buy Rolex to impress. Sad because they are good watches. If you really want to impress, see Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet
Which has caused a surge in demand where a used Rolex fetches a 150 to 300pct premium over the MSRP an AD has to sell you the watch for. And the AD wait time on submariner, gmt2, Daytona is crazy. You are spot on!

I am not a boomer, but I can afford this watch. Salty much? Perhaps you need to look into the mirror and think about some life choices that you made along the way.

As for this watch, beauty is in the eye of the moneyholder. I personally like it, but dont need it.

Seems rich people are like minded with slickdealers while poor people are non slickdealers.

but yeah dont need this watch only buy if you need it or rich.

investments > watches.
gl to my hustlers and dont ruin deals by calling.
