Wouldn't the 6300 series be a better savings at 599?

The 6090 is garbage. If you dont pay attention to what you're watching, go for it.

i needed tv that i could watch at bigger angle. from all tvs only 6300 series and lg oled had nice picture from angle. oled is to expensive so i decided for 6300 series. 6090 was supposed to replace 6300 but it was terrible. i bought last 6300 in target for 500. (it was on clearance without box). So far i like it but i had problem with one hdmi input. colors where bad on it. others inputs where fine. issue somehow fix itself and now i had good picture on all of them.

I bought this set from Target last November when they had an additional discount on TVs. The picture looks great - the only downside is the WebOS operating system so you can't sideload apps but it covers all of the basics.

It's not going to be a high end OLED TV but it's really good especially for the price. I paid less but I'd pay this price if I were looking for a TV again.

during dark scenes in a dark room you will see fogging / light pillars, especially if you look for them. Most people would not notice them but hey, to each there own.

LG has a fantastic viewing angle and really good bright room performance.

Bought the 75" version of this as the last item from Sam's for $700! Yes it's not a high end set but for that price it's a lot of TV. Beats cheaper no name brands for sure. The picture quality is amazing when I upgraded from my Dynex 55" 1080p set. Also make sure if you guys get this TV, turn off the low energy/power saver mode. Uses a bit more power but makes the TV look much better.

FWIW: I had to return the 55" version of this because the blacks/darks on this TV are horrible. As others have mentioned, fogging and light pillars are prominent during viewing. I couldn't even see the scenes. I wouldn't recommend this TV.
