Installed yesterday and it definitely does what it advertises:
Stronger WiFi
Extended WiFi Range
Security Bells and Whistles

Cons: works with your existing modem not a replacement, (I use a modem router combo), larger footprint (more things to plug in and use electricity,

I can certainly see these cons being improved upon within the next two years. Which means to get the best performing unit, you may be replacing this one sooner than later.

I have a wireless modem as well and purchased this deal a few days ago. Tip: go into your wireless modem settings and disable 2.4 and 5ghz radios, then go into orbi settings and change from router to AP; access point.

CenturyLink Gig speeds are 720-750 down and 900 up on wireless.

Anyone knows how this Orbi compares to the TPLINK M9 (link: https://slickdeals.net/f/13002325-costco-tp-link-deco-m9-plus-tri-band-wifi-system-with-built-in-sma...
I'm interested in the above comparison as well.

This is a WARNING from my experience with this mesh bundle. I bought this from Costco and installed it. Of the one week that it has been running, it has dropped connection with the modem 3 times. Had to reboot/reset router to get it back up. I believe that it is a firmware issue because once I reset the router the connection comes back on right away, this tells me that it is not my internet service provider being the issue. I have read others are having the same issue as well. The wifi signal to the devices is top notch, however, if it keeps dropping signal from the modem, this router system is useless to me. Hoping this issue get fixed with new firmware updates or else unit will be returned back to Costco.

I went to Costco and bought this yesterday and set it up last night. I live in a very very old large closed house with an awkward layout. I've always had connectivity issues even when trying to use extenders. For the first time ever, I have full speed coverage in every single room of my house. I'm totally blown away.

$300 for this kit is the best price I've seen, but it may be overkill unless your house is more than 4,500 sq. ft. or possibly smaller if it is very long or very tall.

If your house is between 2,500 and 4,500 sq. ft., or you live in a large apartment with a lot of network traffic around you, and you're having speed or range issues with your router, you may want to wait until a deal comes along for a smaller kit so you're not paying extra for coverage that you don't actually need. The two unit kit (RBK50) has excellent ratings and is the same as this kit except with one less satellite, so it would be an excellent fit for these size homes.

Any less than that and you may just want to consider an extender or upgrading/centralizing your router.

Also, if your house is already wired for Ethernet, then you should look at wireless access points to do the same thing as these kits but much cheaper.P
I hope they will have 2units RBK50 soon

OK I got a verdict for you. I just bought the Deco M9 and installed. Personally i think I'll keep the Deco and return the Orbi. Functionally the M9 has done everything the Orbi did, and then some. Thats not to account the smaller size and lower price.

I ordered both as well, haven't had a chance to install yet. May just try the M9 first, and if there aren't any problems, I'll just stick with that and return the orbi. Either system would be an improvement regardless.

Anyone buy this and then sell a satellite? I can't wait any longer for an RBK50 and seems these satellites go for quite a bit...

What are the odds of this going back on sale next month? I'm in desperate need of a new wireless system and would buy this if I knew that I would benefit from the 30-day price protection from Costco. I suppose I could always return and rebuy, but I feel kinda shady doing that.
