Impossible to use app in split-screen mode!

I use most of my apps in split-screen mode (Android). The recent design change makes it impossible to view any content because the menu elements take up 90% of the user space. The obnoxiously large "SEE DEAL" button makes no sense. Why isn't there an option to auto-hide all of the UI elements when they are not in use?

I think you made a great point, and we should look into hiding some elements in the screen. Thank you for reporting this.

Any updates on this? There really needs to be a redesign of the UI to accommodate different screen sizes (split-screen, floating window, multi-windowing). The current user interface makes the Android app impossible to use on certain platforms. Are the devs just focused on iOS development?
