Bought the trailblazer last year for same price as this deal. It is a nice kayak for the price. It doesn't track the straightest but it is very stable, lightweight, and appropriate storage. This is a very good beginner kayak. Does not come with paddle. I would also recommend a water sports life vest that only goes down half your back so you can comfortably sit in the seat. A full back life vest will cause discomfort.

The mustang is same setup but the two storage points are sealable and it includes two rod holders. keep in mind you can easily add rod holders to your kayak for $10. Both do not include any sort of paddle holder, which is also something you can easily add.
I have I have three of them. I have no idea what you're talking about

I bought 2 Trailblazers a year ago... seem to do well if you don't transport them much... If you do transport them a lot... they will fold up from the wind....

Reviews says Mustang is not stable. Is that correct from your experience?

I never owned the mustang. I owned the trailblazer. I was pointing out the design is pretty much identical. I have no stability issues with trailblazer only minor tracking issues which was expected with cheaper price point.

Great timing!! Was just looking for a kayak today and decided to check here first. Grabbed the mustang because of all the storage.

I've used a trailblazer before and I liked it a lot. Seems the mustang is fairly similar except for all the extra storage and only 3lbs heavier.

Have had a pair of trailblazers for 2 years now. Taken them on multiple 100+ mile road trips on the highway and have never had this happen. They are holding up nicely.

I got 2 trailblazers 2 years ago for my wife and I. They have been good to us so far with no major issues. The dog likes being in the boat with us as well. I second the previous comment about getting the proper life vest for yourself. Full vests are very uncomfortable in a kayak. If you are looking to get out on calm water these are more than adequate. I would personally not take them on more than class 2 rapids.

"Cockpit" area seems really small on these....any bigger person issues on fitting in these...asking for my 6 ft and 230 lb friend.
