Anyone used these sets? Are they heavier than the typical Corelle sets?

I bought them last go round. I'm not familiar with Corelle, but they seem sturdy with some weight to them. My only issue is that the large bowls are tall and narrow, difficult to scope things out with a spoon.

I have Gipson and they are much thicker and nicer than Corelle.

I have the White Elements set and it's our nice set. We use our Correlle as our "every day driver" since they tend to get smacked around more in our porcelain sink. These are a little more delicate, but they definitely look nicer. I think the bowls are a good size and the different sizes make them good for sauces/dips for parties, etc. The package I received was shipped to my home from Macy's and they were packed well so nothing was broken.

yes, they are way heavier, not in a bad way, but def not as nice/thin as the corelle ones.

there are alot of small/useless pieces, but i like the big plates, the cereal bowls are a little useless too

I bought two of these last go around and wasn't terribly impressed (you get what you pay for). As others have said, there's a lot of small useless bowls and plates. One set showed up with multiple broken pieces, based on the price it was easier to call it a loss than return them. Pieces occasionally show small 'rust spots' after going through the dishwasher.

What's usual price for this (not msrp)? For those that got them or have seen them are the pieces even when they stack? Any pitting, dripping of the glaze or big imperfections?

These go on sale at about this price 2-3 times a year from what I've seen. Totally worth it at this price. I bought my set in 2015 and they're going strong. Pretty durable, I've only had to throw one plate away due to a chip (I got 2 sets so I don't have to run the dishwasher until it's completely full, 2 person household). The white glaze looks nice enough for me to put them in my cabinet with a glass display door. The bottom ring (where the plate rests on the table) is either unglazed or has worn away with use but does not impact appearance nor cause chipping. The plates are pretty heavy compared to the Corning wear I had before, but they're significantly thicker and I like the feel of heavy plates more than the light ones.

Have 2 of these sets. If they get shipped to you chances are pretty good some pieces will be broken. The tiny bowls rarely ever get used - mainly use the plates and the big bowls. My biggest gripe with the bowls is that they are really deep and are horrible for trying to place in a dishwasher efficiently. They are space hogs in the dishwasher as you can't really place them vertically on a rack due to their ludicrous depth.
