Agreed. SD would block URLs of a lot of legitimate sellers yet would allow deals from these thieves... Annoyed

Why is this so expensive? Shouldn't a phone cable be like $3?

Ankers power line II have a lifetime replacement warranty. The powerline II series are very robust and high quality cords. I have used the warranty many times with the 6 and 10ft cords. I don't think they are worse quality. Just more prone to damage vs a 3ft. Pretty Painless getting a new one shipped.

Guess all I had to do is complain about the price and another deal goes FP @ $4.

Practically everything has somewhat of a warranty. If something fails, you can purchase the same thing again, and then take back the broken one with the new receipt for a refund. Really though, I don't want to be messing with warranty claims on what should be a $3 item.

I ag ree it's not a must-have, but there are many people that need the speed of wired charging. I'm not well-read on the different technologies for wireless charging, but I believe the fastest is still wired charging. For people that use their phones a lot and require multiple charges a day and may not be near a power source for long, a wired charger is still best. Apple still offers fast charging, but I believe it requires a separate cable (TB3-to-Lightning) and an adapter, sold separately, that puts out more than the 5W the standard adapter does.

So, for some, a physical charger is a must-have. Plus, how much does a reliable wireless charger cost? For multiple devices to be charged at once, I think the least expensive option is a $100+ wireless pad. That's 3 wired chargers and cables with faster charging.
yup, as long as wireless is tied down to having to have your phone down on a table it is even more useless than a wired connection i can move around. the faster charging also keeps me away from the charging spot as well.

It's not exactly a good thing to know you've used the warranty a lot...

I doubt you'll hear from these guys again.

Daily Steals is also known for misleading and selling fraudulent items. Claiming things that are clearly not true.

I believe they are promoted on SD and that's why you see their mediocre deals make FP.

The warranty is through Anker themselves. I'm more wondering if daily steals is an authorized retailer for them

I'd be out if it was Amazon. It's not a great company to support.

Yup that is the exact reason I put mine away and is now collecting dust. Got it free to try it out through Samsung's promo a couple years back.
