anyone know the difference in this [amazon.com] one on amazon? Obviously different model number.

scroll down the page and there's a table listing the differences between 5000 and 7000 series.
biggest one is 3 vs 5 hour runtime

How does the limit per member work in Costco? Do both me and my wife get to buy two each? She's the primary on the account and I have the add-on card.

Not even sure they enforce the limits but buy a gift card, leave and come back and use the gift card as a non member to pay.
